  Small portions. 1:15 to get the special & a sandwich. 35 for 3 glasses of wine! No offer to buy a bottle. Table of 4 who ordered 15 mins after us(2) got their meals before us. Empty glasses. Forgotten items. Food tasted good. But will not return & will stop recommending to friends.

  The fish and chips and the bangers and mash were superb and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you like English pub food at a very reasonable price.

  We are picky about eggs benedict and they were perfect. Caesar was delicious (they asked how we like it ☺) and the service was prompt. The price was good too!

  Rose & Crown Restaurant's should get with the times and offer more gluten free options. The waitress hardly even knew what I was talking about when I asked. I asked Why? She said, well we've survived okay with what we have - what a dumb answer! People who can't eat wheat GET SICK when they do eat wheat products, it isn't a fad - none of my family will be visiting another of these restaurants anytime in the near future - until they grow up to be adults!

  Go early before peek hours, bar gets busy during the summer season. Decent live music and great selection for drinks with fair prices, but dance area to DJ music is considerably small. If you like dancing to contemporary Pop/R&B/Dance music, chances are it's going to be a tight fit in the smallish basement. That being said it has a decent and safe atmosphere and there are rarely and fights or other disturbances
