  My wife and I had a great meal at Blake. Very interesting flavours on the menu. We had the mechanic burger and the Seoul burger, along with the crack fries. All were great! Also had a lovely chat with the manager that evening, Pam. Super friendly and really put a personal touch on the night. Great views from the patio too!

  Their slogan perfectly captures this place: Eat, Explore, Experience. Come with an open mind. Service was great. Food was unique and tasty. Fun and adventurous place to visit.
  
  Really surprised by all the negative reviews. One said good service but couldn't leave a tip. I think that says a lot about type of person writing the review. Come on out, you gotta try this place!

  Not only was the food terrible, but so was the service! The food was over cooked, most of it, not just one item. Looking around at the other tables and their food, we weren't the only ones with over cooked food. Looking at the pictures here on Google, it confirms our food shouldn't have looked like it did. The pork was dry, because it was overcooked. The chicken and waffles were almost black, not the golden brown on the picture here. We ordered the coal miners beef, which looks pictured, but the picture looks twice the size of what we received. They were out of many of the dishes, some we didn't find out until after we placed the order and waited. We had to ask our server for drinks, and even the check, multiple times. Basic server responsibilities were not met, for example, I had to ask her to take an empty glass when I placed an order for a new drink. When we talked to the manager about how poor the food and service was, we were told it was because they were understaffed. That is not acceptable after waiting at least 30 min for a table and for a $150 bill! I would rather wait for good food and good service than get what I received. We actually would have ordered more food if we were enjoying our experience. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The crack fries were also delicious.

  Really enjoyed the food. It was a unique dining experience. The coal minors chuck was delicious and the chowder was remarkable, but the absolute best part was the Caesars done with peppercorn gin by Raw Spirits. Wow!
